    Can we sign an NDA before I send drawings?
    Standard practice: NDA before any drawing exchange, template on request, tooling stored free for 5 years. Files are stored against the inquiry record, shared only with the engineers assigned to your project, and never sent to third parties. Ask for the NDA template in the message field.     What should I prepare so the first quote is substantive?
    Five things speed the first quote: (1) sensor model & target size, (2) working distance & field of view, (3) target performance (MTF, distortion, IP or sterilization), (4) environment, (5) annual volume & program horizon. Missing pieces? Send it anyway — our engineers ask the right questions back.
    Who actually replies, and how fast will I get a price?
    Engineering-trained sales first; custom projects are escalated to the optical engineers who will own your design — with founder-level review when tolerances or schedules are at stake. Catalog quotes and sample availability come back within one business day; custom specs get a feasibility first-pass within 48 hours, then a quotation once the envelope is agreed.
    What file formats can I upload — and are they safe?
    PDF, DOCX, XLSX, STEP, DWG, ZIP, JPG, PNG up to 10 MB. Files are stored against your inquiry, visible only to the assigned engineers, never forwarded to third parties.
    My project is not ready for an RFQ — should I still write?
    Send the problem, not the spec. Describing your inspection task is enough for a first feasibility conversation — see our inspection solutions by industry.
    Do you sell to individuals or only companies?
    B2B only: equipment manufacturers, medical and NDT brands, integrators. We do not sell retail or single-unit consumer orders.
    Form, email, or WhatsApp — which should I use?

    Can I get a catalog instead of a quote?
